
Sunitha Anand, CPA, CTC
Founder and CEO

Sunitha Anand is the Founder and Managing Partner of AddsVal CPAs & Advisory, bringing nearly two decades of experience across Big Four public accounting, corporate finance leadership, and entrepreneurship. She began her career at PwC and later held senior roles at Sattell, Johnson & Appel (now Wipfli) and Grant Thornton, developing deep expertise in audit, tax, and advisory services.
Her corporate finance leadership experience at Serigraph, Kerry Group, Server Products, and Brondell provides firsthand insight into how financial and tax decisions drive sustainable growth. Founded in 2023, AddsVal has since expanded through the acquisition of two long-established tax practices, strengthening the firm’s expertise, capacity, and national reach.
In 2023, Sunitha founded AddsVal CPAs & Advisory with a mission to add value beyond numbers. A year later, she acquired a 35-year-old tax practice, combining trusted client relationships with AddsVal’s innovative, technology-driven approach. In Jan 2026, AddsVal acquired another 27 year old practice that aligns closely with existing client profiles and strengthens the firm’s ability to serve business and individual clients nationwide with deeper expertise, expanded capacity, and even greater value. More importantly, it reinforces AddsVal’s long-term vision: building a scalable, forward-looking advisory firm designed for sustainable growth. Today, the firm offers 50+ years of combined tax expertise, serving individuals, partnerships, businesses, and trusts with a growing team dedicated to excellence and personalized care.
As a Certified Tax Coach (CTC), Sunitha is part of an elite group trained in advanced, proactive tax planning strategies. She is deeply passionate about helping clients legally minimize taxes, optimize business and investment structures, and align financial strategies with both short- and long-term goals.
Outside of her professional work, Sunitha enjoys spending time with her family. A trained classical vocalist and dancer, she brings the same discipline, creativity, and balance from the arts into her leadership style and client service philosophy.
Anand Krishnamurthy, MBA
Executive Director
Anand Krishnamurthy leads Advisory Services at AddsVal CPAs & Advisory, where he is responsible for building and scaling the firm’s Fractional CFO, FP&A, and Tax Planning practices. He partners closely with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to strengthen financial foundations, improve decision-making, and drive sustainable growth.
With over 25 years of global finance leadership experience, Anand has served in senior executive roles across technology, software, and healthcare organizations. Most recently, he was CFO – Global Services at Juniper Networks, overseeing financial strategy and operations for a multi-billion-dollar business and leading enterprise-wide initiatives focused on performance optimization, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Anand is known for his ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insight, align finance with business strategy, and lead finance transformation initiatives that deliver measurable results. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, clarity, and disciplined execution.
He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant from India and holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Ann Antonson, CPA
Ann Antonson is a certified public accountant with over 30 years of experience in taxation. After graduating from University of California, Santa Barbara, Ann worked for Deloitte in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Orange County, specializing in the taxation of real estate investors and developers. She then worked for Bolar, Hirsch and Jennings in Irvine, California, before moving with her family to the Bay Area in 1997. She has worked with Timothy F. Brophy, CPA, in the Bay Area, on a part time basis, for the last 17 years while raising her 3 boys with her husband, Dave. Ann loves to travel, run, ski, read, and spend time with her family.
Rachel Chiu, CPA
Rachel Chiu is a certified public accountant with over 10 years of experience in taxation, bookkeeping, and payroll. After graduating from Cleveland State University with a Master of Accountancy, Rachel worked for Timothy P. Laskey, CPA, in Lakewood, Ohio, for 3 years, focusing on the individual tax return preparation. She joined Timothy F. Brophy, CPA, in 2013, expanding her profession to corporate taxation and QuickBooks Online. In 2016, she relocated to Southern California with her family and continues to work remotely with Tim. Rachel loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Divyesh Anand
Divyesh Anand serves as a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator and Associate – Accounting & Tax at AddsVal CPAs & Advisory. In his CSR role, Divyesh works directly with nonprofit organizations supported by AddsVal, helping coordinate the firm’s community initiatives and strengthen partnerships with charitable and nonprofit entities. His efforts support the firm’s commitment to giving back and creating positive community impact.
As an Accounting & Tax Associate, Divyesh supports both business and individual clients through the preparation of tax returns, QuickBooks reconciliations, and monthly close processes. He applies strong technical skills and attention to detail across client engagements. Outside of work, Divyesh is a Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks fan and enjoys playing basketball.

Maddy Parada
Madeline Parada (Maddy) is a Tax Associate Growing up in Northern California, Maddy attended undergraduate studies at Hunter College in New York City. She then relocated to the Bay Area in 2010 spending time working as a lead scheduler with Notary Public Network, a national home loan signing corporation. She began working for Timothy F. Brophy, CPA in 2016 and has since completed her certificate as a tax preparer with Universal Accounting Services. Maddy enjoys life in Oakley with her husband Shae, and two wonderful boys. She also enjoys sewing, travel, gardening, and looks forward to furthering her accounting and tax education.
Anjalee Bangar
Anjalee Bangar is an Accounting & Tax Associate at AddsVal CPAs & Advisory and a key part of the firm’s operations and support team. Raised in Pittsburg, California, she graduated in 2025 with a degree in Business Accountancy from Sacramento State University. While in school, she volunteered with Tax-Aid, gaining valuable experience in tax preparation and client service, and has since earned her QuickBooks certification. As a recent addition to the firm, Anjalee supports scheduling, document management, bookkeeping tasks, and day-to-day office operations. She is excited to begin her career in accounting and plans to pursue her CPA license as she continues to grow with the firm. Outside of work, Anjalee enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog and hobbies include traveling, crocheting, trying new restaurants, and exploring the city.
